Meet Shala Helm 

After receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, Shala returned to her hometown and began working as a juvenile attorney at Southern Oregon Public Defender.

 

For over five years Shala provided zealous advocacy and compassion to her clients whether they were navigating child welfare or the juvenile justice system. Shala continues to practice juvenile law – including dependency and delinquency - as well as assisting clients with family law related matters including custody modifications, and guardianships and conservatorships. 

In her spare time, Shala enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Griffey.
